During my recent stay in Piozzo, a charming village renowned as the cradle of 'Baladin' beer, I was impressed by the unique blend of traditional and modern elements throughout the accommodation. The beautifully restored building featured exquisite decorative furnishings that reflected neo-baroque and neoclassical influences, with arrangements of flowers, branches, and leaves creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The interior was thoughtfully designed, allowing natural light to filter in and illuminate the artistic details, including stunning 17th-century paintings. My mornings began with really good home-cooked breakfasts, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. the surrounding countryside provided amazing panoramas, ideal for leisurely walks along the meandering Tanaro River. The experience offered a perfect opportunity for cultural immersion, and I look forward to returning for an extended stay to explore the rich heritage of this picturesque region.
